CT Split Core คือ CT แบบแกนแยก ที่ตัวเปิดแบ่งครึ่งได้ จึงสามารถเปิดแล้วเอาไปคล้องสายไฟได้โดยไม่ต้องถอดสายไฟออก จึงเพิ่มความสะดวกให้กับผู้ใช้งานอย่างมาก
ข้อดี-ข้อเสีย CT Split Core คือ
1. มีหลายขนาดให้เลือก ตั้งแต่เล็ก ถึง ขนาดใหญ่ ตามช่วงกระแสใช้งาน
2. ขนาดเล็กสามารถใส่ในตู้ Consumer Unit Schneider และ ตู้ Load Center ได้
3. มีค่าความแม่นยำ Accurracy Class :1 ทนแรงดันได้สูงถึง 720 VAC
4. ต้องใช้กับ Power meter ที่รับอินพุตเป็นแรงดัน 0.333VAC ได้ เท่านั้น
