คืออุปกรณ์ สำหรับแปลงค่ากระแสไฟฟ้าจากกระแสไฟฟ้ากระแสสูง (primary current : Ip) เป็นกระแสต่ำ (Secondary Current : Is) ซึ่งมีค่าตั้งแต่ 0 ถึง 5A โดยขึ้นอยู่กับสัดส่วนของกระแสที่วัดได้ทางด้าน Ip อุปกรณ์ชนิดนี้ถูกนำไปใช้ร่วมกับเครื่องมือทางวัดทางไฟฟ้า เช่น Amp Meter, Kilowatt-hour Meter, Meters, Control Relay
